1/2 med. head cabbage, shredded
6 dups chicken stock
1 large onion, coarsley chopped
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
3 peppercorns
1 bay leaf
4 allspice berries (or 1-2 tsp allspice powder)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
2 6 oz cans tomato paste
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except tomato
paste. Bring to boil and simmer 1 hour. Remove peppercorns, bay leaf
and allspice berries, add tomato paste and simmer 15 minutes longer.
