Adult Christian Education
Sunday
Adult Forum -
Easter Starts Our Mission
What does it mean to pray
that “God send us into the world,” as we do in our post communion
prayer, or “to go forth in the name of Christ.” The adult forum in
April and May with Fr. Rob will engage us in living those words, not
just saying them. Join us starting this Sunday, April 18.
Sunday Bible Study - "To Live
Is Christ"
"To Live Is Christ" Bible study by Beth Moore journeys the audience
through the events in the life of Paul.
Weekly Bible Study
The Weekly Bible Study is
on Tuesdays at 9:30am and Wednesdays at 7:00pm. We study the Sunday
Lectionary in advance of the upcoming Sunday.

Lift
High the Cross - Spring Harvest - May 23
Our three-year term of our
Lift High the Cross Campaign comes to its close in May. We have made
great strides in renovations and principal reduction over these three
years. Thank you to all who contributed. We are counting on all
pledges to be paid by May 23, on which we’ll have a special celebration
and recognition of our successes. We also invite any one who did not
pledge but has not given to make a special once-a-year type of gift
anytime between now and May 23. Our outstanding loan is still more than
$1.7 million - so every contribution helps. (Technically, Lift High the
Cross contributions will be accepted through the end of 2010 and
beyond. As we said, every contribution counts.)

Music
Survey
As part of the
process of searching for and selecting a new Organist/Choir Director,
the Search Committee has decided to survey all parishioners to
understand the musical hopes and needs in the congregation. The
survey questions give each parishioner the chance to express how he or
she feels about the music program at St. Aidan's as it exists today, how
it enhances your worship, and what needs to be done to improve this
important ministry.
The survey takes between 10 and 20 minutes to complete. All
responses are anonymous, and none of the questions are required to be
completed, however the more you can tell us the better.
<<
TAKE THE SURVEY
NOW
>>
This invitation is also
not limited. Please invite every member of your household to complete
the survey. If you attend St. Aidan's we want to hear your
thoughts.
The Search Committee hopes to wrap up the survey process by this
Sunday, April
18th, so please prayerfully complete the survey before then.
We thank you in advance for your time, thoughts, and prayers!

Hikers, Walkers and
Lovers of Nature
St. Aidan’s Spring Family
Hike is Saturday, May 8th at 8am. The Laurel Ridge Trail is
a relatively flat 3.8 mile circular trail at Buford Dam. It should
be a fun hike for young and old alike. Bring a picnic lunch if you
want to make a day of it. The trail is about 15 miles from the
church (400 Exit 14) so it should not take long to get there and back.
We will meet in St. Aidan’s parking lot at 8am and leave promptly at
8:15am. We should be back around noon. Contact Jim Linthicum
if you would like to meet the group at the trail. To sign-up or
ask questions, contact Jim at

2010 Pilgrimages
Since the 4th century…
Man has sought God on the worn paths and narrow roads that lead to
Europe’s holy sites.
That journey continues today… Join us.
Christian
