Climb the mountains
And get their good tidings.
Nature’s peace will flow into you
as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness
into you, and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop off
like autumn leaves.

. . .  From the writings of John Muir

Saturday, December 29th

Vickery Creek Park

St. Aidan’s Hikers and all St. Aidan’s family and friends are invited to hike on Saturday, December 29. There were 27 “hikers” on Thanksgiving weekend who thought it would be fun to meet at 11 AM that morning at Vickery Creek Park, corner of Roswell Rd. and Riverside Dr. Heading south on Hwy. 9, turn left at Riverside Drive and left at the sign for Vickery Creek Park, about 100 yards after the turn. We’ll meet in the parking lot at 11 AM. The hike is about 3 miles and has a couple climbs but is otherwise easy, fun and has some of Roswell’s most beautiful terrain. Following the hike, we might go for lunch in Historic Roswell if there are enough interested people. Questions? Please email clarkmiller221@mindspring.com.

The St. Aidan’s Hikers welcome all members and visitors.  If you would like to receive information about our hikes by email, please fill out the contact information form if you haven’t done so previously.
