About Pack 1459...
Pack 1459 is chartered out of Saint Aidan's Episcopal Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Visit their web site here.
We are an active scouting unit with great scouts, dedicated leaders, and a whole lot of fun going on!

So what is Pack 1459 like? We try to schedule regular camping activities. One thing we understand is "the campfire". Get the campfire right, and the kids have a great time! We schedule at least one big trip a year, and sometimes two. We've spent the night on the USS Yorktown Aircraft Carrier, been to the Air & Space Museum, and much more. We believe in having fun and learning about the values of scouting along the way.
We believe that the boys should have a very healthy respect for the flag, and the traditions around presentation and retiring of the colors. So our dens take turns at the pack meetings learning to do this. If you have never been to a proper flag retirement ceremony, then you've been missing something. When it's done right, it is very moving. And we want our boys to learn about that stuff, and pass it on their own kids when they grow up.
