Description
The Shepherds ministry is responsible for welcoming and
incorporating newcomers into St Aidans and responding to the needs
of membership retention as they may arise.
Scope
The scope of the Shepherds ministry includes:

Warmly welcoming all visitors to this
Parish using all forms of communications

Providing venues for Newcomers to feel
welcome and included in the life of the parish

Serving as the initial link of
newcomer needs and parish resources and ministry
-
Maintaining the means of determining
when membership retention is an issue
-
Proposing remedies for membership
retention as the needs dictate

in Newcomer events and dinners
Time Participation
-
Committee heads will devote 2-3 hours
per week
-
Committee members 1-2 hours per week
-
Meetings are Ad-Hoc (not more than one
per quarter) and usually take place after the last service in one of
the classrooms in Burtenshaw Hall. Meetings will not run over 1 hour
