John Sabine leads our music ministry, which
includes three choirs: the Adult Choir, a choir for 8-13 year-olds
called the St. Cecila Choir, and a children's Choir for pre-readers
between ages 3-7. The youth and children's choirs rehearse on
Sundays after church, and the adult choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:30
p.m.
Children’s Choirs
The Children’s choir sings for special
services, such as Christmas and Easter. Rehearsal times vary according to
the event, and will be announced at that time.
When the choir sings for other services, it
rehearses on the Sundays, preceding the scheduled event.
The Royal School of
Church Music curriculum will be instituted in February 2004,
in order to form the St. Nicholas Choir, which will perform with the adult
coir. Rehearsal times will be announced.
