Sunday School

Sunday School

Sunday School  – serving children in Pre-school through 5th grade.  These Faith Formation classes are offered Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:45 am in the preschool classrooms, located on the lower level of the parish hall building.

Sunday School at St. Aidan’s utilizes the lectionary-based Spark: Activate Faith curriculum, and it is FUN! Our classes incorporate storytelling, music, projects and play. Our teachers work hard to create a safe, loving environment that teaches children about God’s love and supports our objective of Faith Fluency through dynamic, engaging experiences.

Visitors and newcomers are welcome to join Sunday School at any time! For more information, please contact Ellen Keel, Assistant Director of Family Ministries.

Jr. High Sunday School

Through lessons, speakers, and outreach we explore ways that we can be Christ’s hands and feet, spreading His message of love — by being the Church in our individual worlds.

Sr. High Sunday School

Is it possible to see Jesus without all the cliches…see Jesus tangibly and in detail, as those first folks on the streets of Israel saw him…dirty feet and all? What did he do? What did he say? What was he really like?” As a group expect open, transparent discussion as we explore the reality of Jesus as a man as well as God.

Sundays, 10-10:45am in Burtenshaw Hall

St. Aidan’s offers adult Sunday School class with Fr. Reggie. This class will be a lectionary based reflection upon the sermon with discussion questions. All are welcome!

To prepare for this class please read the passages on the Episcopal Church’s lectionary page for the current readings.  Reading of the passages immediately before and after the assigned passage for the day aids in gaining more depth and understanding. Materials needed for this class include a Holy Bible, a willingness to engage the text and a desire to explore its relevance to our lives in the twenty-first century.
