Children & Youth Ministry
Children’s Chapel
Children's Chapel is for kids ages 4-11. It will take place at 11am during church, and the children will join us at the Peace so that they can participate in Holy Eucharist. During Children's Chapel our leaders conduct a mini-version of church. We recite the Nicene Creed, Prayers of the People, Confession, and pass the Peace. We read a bible story (often the gospel, but not always), and discuss or have a related craft. Snacks are also provided.
Choristers
Our Choristers program is open to all children, no music experience necessary! Wednesday Rehearsals are 5 pm - 6:30 pm in the church, from September - May. Every rehearsal will begin with a vocal warm-up, followed by learning and practicing upcoming songs. After a brief recess, choristers will then receive music theory instruction, a graduated curriculum where they will learn music fundamentals and how to read music at sight. Choristers will sing quarterly Sunday a.m. services with occasional special events on selected Sunday afternoons.
